Along our journey, we’ve ensured that our farmers are equipped with all the knowledge, technology, and support they need to nurture high-quality crops. Developing the dates industry while keeping farmers motivated is one of our primary goals, which is why we’ve helped build the expertise of more than 24,000 farmers across the UAE.
Through this glorious journey that we embarked upon over 17 years ago, we are proud to have earned the trust of our valued farmers. We are steadfast in our commitment to ensuring that they have everything they need, as it is their passion and commitment to their craft that has resulted in all the landmark achievements we have seen through the years.
It was the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the nation’s agricultural renaissance who ensured that the geographic spread of date palms extended beyond the ancient Oasis to the entire country, transforming the desert into a green paradise. HRH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE President, has continued this support of the green transformation, empowering farmers to realise the vision laid down by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Thanks to the vision of our leaders and the commitment of our farmers to this cause, today the UAE leads the world in date cultivation and in the innovation of date products world-over.
We’ve empowered our farmers to scale new heights when it comes to harvesting dates. To that end, we’ve set up an efficient harvest receiving and processing system that reflects global standards of quality, that makes our farmers’ work easier yet more professional.
In order to accurately grade the quality of dates we receive at harvest time, we at Al Foah adhere to rigorous sets of criteria. Our defined standards have been jointly approved by a committee that includes our inhouse quality control specialists and the food safety representatives from the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority. This way, we are able to assure you the highest quality of dates the UAE has to offer while ensuring that our date farmers earn the best returns on investment.

This has enabled us to streamline the entire production cycle, right from the transportation of dates from the farms to our processing centres, to making our products available for purchase in the local and overseas markets.
